Established in 1982, the Desert & Delta Safaris portfolio brings together some of Botswana’s most historic lodges including the iconic Chobe Game Lodge, Savute Safari Lodge, Camp Moremi, Camp Okavango, Xugana Island Lodge and Leroo La Tau.
These lodges, with four in the unique Okavango Delta, allow guests to explore northern Botswana’s unsurpassed safari destinations. Desert & Delta Safaris’ emphasis on great game viewing and quality guiding allows guests not only to understand the wildlife of this region but also the culture of the people, their pride in their past and their aspirations for the future.
The national parks and game reserves in which the Desert & Delta Safaris operate are some of the foremost safari destinations in Botswana, proclaimed at independence because of their fine game viewing and breathtaking scenery. Desert & Delta Safaris is proud to be able to operate in these locations and repay the trust placed in them to preserve such unique areas.
Desert & Delta Safaris are actively involved in community development throughout northern Botswana, with a particular emphasis on staff development both professional and personal. The promotion of staff wellness is at the cornerstone of staff development. Both staff and managers are recruited primarily from the areas in which the company operates and they are all excellent ambassadors.
