One of the Okavango Delta’s traditional tented camps, Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp is perfect for wildlife enthusiasts combining authentic safari accommodation with first class hospitality. The camp’s setting on permanent water within the delta allows for both day and night game drives as well as walking safaris, mokoro excursions and motorboat activities.

Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp

Rann’s Concession, western Okavango Delta

This intimate and stylish camp is set on a private island within a 272 000 hectare concession. Activities differ by season but variously include game drives, game walks, motorboat activities and mokoro safaris. Additional activities include helicopter flights and riding safaris conducted within the concession.

Rann’s Concession, western Okavango Delta

A sister camp to Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp, the more earthy Xudum Okavango Delta Camp overlooks a seasonal lagoon within the same concession. With similar activities to Xaranna the focus at Xudum is however on land based activities. The camp’s unusual recycled theme belies its its elegant comfort.

The original Okavango Delta walking safari, Footsteps Across the Delta provides the opportunity to explore African on foot with specialist guides. Exploring the delta on foot allows for a special delta experience, developing a unique appreciation for this majestic landscape. The comfortable authentic tented camp utilises Meru stryle tents.

Occupying an attractive site on the permanent Xudum River this concession contains a variety of habitats from open floodplains and waterholes to forested islands. With good general game viewing the concession is home to a magnificent breeding heronry. The eight comfortable tents provide first class accommodation.

Shinde Concession, northern Okavango Delta

On the edge of the Shinde Lagoon Shinde Camp occupies a game rich private concession to the north of the Okavango Delta. Set under the shade of ebony and mangosteen trees, the camp’s comfortable tents were refurbished in 2015 and offer great views over the floodplains. Wildlife activities explore the concession by land and water.

Set on a secluded lagoon in the northern Okavango Delta, Kwara Camp provides access to the waters of the delta as well as expansive dry land areas, renowned for their high quality game experiences. As well as day and night game drives Kwara Camp offers motorboat activities and mokoro excursions.

Pom Pom Concession, southern Okavango Delta

One of the classic Okavango Delta safari camps, the extremely well known Pom Pom Camp is situated on Pom Pom Island in the concession from which it derives its name. On the western boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve the concession comprises mixed habitat and access to permanent Okavango Delta waters providing excellent game viewing.

Jao Camp

Jao Concession, northern-western Okavango Delta

At the intersection of the islands and the floodplains of the Okavango Delta lies Jao Camp, one of the most luxurious in the delta. This combination of permanent water and fertile grasslands create an outstanding wildlife experience and the camp offers both land and water activities. This is a beautifully designed camp, mirroring this pristine wilderness area.

At the centre of the game rich Jao Concession, Kwetsani Camp is an intimate camp with just five units overlooking the incredible floodplains of the concession. Little Tubu

Jao Concession, northern-western Okavango Delta

The perfect camp for small groups or families, Little Tubu comprises just three tents on Hundu Island. The island is home to diverse species of wildlife and is particularly well known for its predator populations. The traditional tents, on raised decks, provide a comfortable base from which to explore this remarkable concession.

Kwedi Concession, northern Okavango Delta

In the northern Okavango Delta close to where the Okavango River flows into the delta, Little Vumbura is only accessible by boat. With rich grasslands and large rivers providing a diverse habit mix game viewing is good with excellent predator sightings year round. The camp offers both land and water activities. It should be noted that water activities are dependent on water levels.

Abu Concession, western Okavango Delta

With a particular focus on family safaris, Seba Camp is a perfect place for children to learn about wildlife. Activities are tailored to children, allowing them to get the most out of their safari experience. The camp itself is set in an ancient riverine forest of mature trees. The camp offers the full suite of Okavango Delta activities, however boating is water level dependant.

Built on the game rich Hunda Island, Tubu Tree Camp’s elevated decks provide magnificent views of the Okavango Delta. The wet and dry habitat within the Jao Concession supports high densities of large game providing spectacular game viewing. Water activities explore the delta’s lagoons and waterways

Vumbura Plains

Kwedi Concession, northern Okavango Delta

One of Wilderness Safaris’ premier camps, Vumbura Plains offers great game viewing throughout the year. The camp itself is split in two, creating a sense of space, with wonderful views over the delta. The diverse mix of game attracts and equally diverse predator mix with both lions and wild dogs regularly encountered. Unusually for the delta cultural visits, to meet the people of the delta and learn about local culture, can be arranged.

Moremi Game Reserve, central Okavango Delta

Deep within the Moremi Game Reserve and surrounded by crystal clear channels and lush vegetation, Xigera Camp lies on the heart shaped Paradise Island. The camp is within the permanent delta, perfect for birdwatchers and an excellent place to see sitatunga antelope. With nature walks and game drives exploring the surrounding islands and floodplains, seasonal water excursions capture the essence of the delta.
