Under One Botswana Sky Camps In the Okavango Delta

Under One Botswana Sky is the sister company to Kwando Safaris and operates the Nata and Chobe lodges. Chobe Safari Lodge and Chobe Bush Lodge are popular lodges offering affordable accommodation in Kasane with easy access to Chobe National Park. Just south of the Makgadikgadi pans, Nata Lodge is a popular lodge with self-drivers. A number of good value packages are offered in combination with the Kwando camps.

Mma Dinare Camp

In a private concession, allowing off road and night time game drives, Mma Dinare is a lovely camp located in an exciting game rich area. The experience here is land based although mokoro trips are possible when water levels allow, usually June to September. Thatched and open, the main area is a great place to relax and watch the wildlife drawn to the Gomoti river. The rooms are spacious with their own verandas.

Moremi Crossing

One of the largest camps in the Okavango Delta, Moremi Crossing has been built on a palm fringed island overlooking Chief’s Island. While not as intimate as many camps, Moremi Crossing boasts a lovely location and is one of the most affordable camps in the Okavango. The focus here is on walking and water activities. No game drives are offered unless water levels are extremely low.

Gunn’s Camp

Gunn’s Camp has a splendid location on the banks of the Boro River, overlooking Chiefs Island and the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is set under leafy palms and African Ebony and blends naturally with its unique surroundings. Gunn’s is a small traditional camp, simple and more affordable than most Okavango camps. The focus is on walking, boating and mokoro excursions. No game drives are offered unless water levels are extremely low.
