Wilderness Safaris was founded in Botswana in 1983 by a group of wildlife enthusiasts as a mobile safari operator. With operations spread over eight African countries, Botswana, Congo (Brazzaville), Kenya, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe, Wilderness Safaris’ reach is unparalleled. Providing wildlife, marine and cultural safaris in pristine wilderness locations Wilderness Safaris’ safaris are specialised, educational and above all fun.

With an emphasis on hospitality and professional high standards, Wilderness Safaris has a particular reputation for excellent guides with considerable investment in guide training throughout a guide’s career.

The Wilderness Safaris brand covers camps and lodges in the Premier, Classic, Adventure and Collection groupings, but all offer the same enthusiastic and professional service.

A fully integrated charter operator, Wilderness Air, ensures that air transport between camps, is to the same high standards to which guests become accustomed to whilst staying at Wilderness Safaris’ camps.
