You will be met on arrival in Maun, Botswana by a representative of Desert & Delta Safaris who will assist you with your connection onto your flight to the Leroo La Tau in a light aircraft. You will stay at Leroo La Tau for two nights on a fully inclusive basis.

With twelve luxury glass fronted suites Leroo La Tau overlook the Boteti River with magnificent views of the animals of the region as they come to the river to drink. Scheduled day and night game drives explore this fascinating area with boats exploring the river dependant on water levels. Guided nature walks can be conducted by prior arrangement and with Leroo La Tau’s close relationship with the local community an optional cultural excursions can also be arranged, observing contemporary life at Khumaga Village. It must be noted that due to their location within the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, the Makgadikgadi Pans themselves are not visited on daily scheduled activities from Leroo La Tau.

Following breakfast and your morning activity, time permitting, you will leave Leroo La Tau for Camp Okavango in the Shinde Concession on the permanent waters of the northern Okavango Delta where you will stay for two nights on a fully inclusive basis.

Rebuilt in 2016, Camp Okavango provides fine accommodation with rooms overlooking the delta. This is a water camp and activities focus on the waters of the delta. Mokoro (canoe) excursions meander across the shallow waters of the Okavango providing a glimpse into the workings of this remarkable ecosystem. With deep channels in the concession motorboats allow you to reach further into the delta and see the larger aquatic inhabitants . Walking safaris are conducted on nearby islands led by experienced professional guides.

This morning after your morning activity and breakfast, time permitting, you will depart on a light charter flight to your final destination Camp Moremi in the Xakanaxa region of the Moremi Game Reserve where you will stay for two nights.

Situated within the riverine fringe of the delta and exploring the mopane forests, open grasslands, seasonal floodplains and riverine habitats of the area. Camp Moremi is an elegant thatch and timber lodge and offers a broad range of safari activities both on land and water. Exhilarating game drives provide the chance to track wildlife in the beautiful surroundings of Moremi Game Reserve, a protected area renowned for frequent sightings of lion, leopard and cheetah. African wild dog sightings are also regularly reported. Motorboat excursions are often conducted in the evening, a perfect way to see the sun set against the African sky.

On the final morning of this safari you will check out from Camp Moremi and after a light breakfast and timing permitting your morning activity you will board a charter flight to Maun and your onward travel arrangements.
